This surrealist object is a mash-up of a women's razor blade and a wolf's fangs. This potentially deadly object reflects how I feel about being a woman who is all but forced to shave, and is intended to resonate with other women as well. I chose wolf fangs over my original idea of a tiger or wild-cat, as wolves are more often viewed as a manly, wild creature. So the razor's origins lies in the male influence on the female body, rather than being self-imposed.
